Rodin
used the technique of the ‘infinito’ to make a lot of his
sculptures. In this technique part of the raw matter is taken away to
give form and part of the raw matter is left to make a contrast.
I
did the same with this low table and the dishes on top of it: they
are sculpted out of a natural branch, still showing the branch.
